It will definitely be an interesting election in the KY-6 this year. Andy Barr is seeking his 4th term as our congressman and facing off against Amy McGrath, and there is lots to groan about. Barr is of course your run of the mill conservative who wants to stay in congress forever and keep marijuana illegal forever, but then again so is Amy McGrath. McGrath is a former military pilot and married to another veteran who is, wait for it... A republican. As if being a DCCC backed, out-of-state, carpetbagger wasn't enough- she's practically just another conservative! Enough on that though, I don't want to sit and grumble about our R and D friends forever. The purpose of this article is to point out that this year's ballot will contain a new choice. A libertarian choice! With a new state ballot ruling that Libertarians will have ballot access (thanks Gary Johnson!) the LP will be running a candidate of their own in Kentuckys Sixth Congressional District: Frank Harris.
