Ky State Rep Elections Coming Up

 2024 is an election year in Kentucky (again) but just for select roles - Predsident (of course), US Rep, State Rep, some State Senate, and some judicial spots... so the goal is to touch on some of these on the blog. To get us started lets look at District 91 - Powell, Estill, and part of Madison. Right now there are no Democrats filed for the seat (maybe we'll end up getting one out of Madison) but for the Republican primary we have two: Darrell Billings, a Powell County business owner, and Bill Wesley, a former Police Officer... from the libertarian perspective, the choice here is obvious. Darrell Billings has already stated he wants to be pro-business and lower state income tax (why are we so behind on this anyway?), while Bill Wesley has shown that he throws 99% of his efforts behind police causes (he is after all, the chaplain for several as well as a member of the public protection standing committee).
